Matlab and Octave have many functions not part of MathPACK Solver. I have written equivalents for some of those functions since I needed them in some work I was doing. The remove function is an equivalent to the Matlab/Octave expression x(v)=[ ] which removes the elements of x whose indices are contained in the vector v.
